Kapil Dev, former cricketer of India, captained the Indian cricket team which won the first ever Cricket World Cup on June 25, 1983. On February 08, 1994, he surpassed Sir Richard Hadlee's record of 431 test wickets (then highest in test cricket). On March 08, 2010 - He was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He is the only player in the history of cricket to have taken more than 400 wickets and scored more than 5,000 runs in Tests, making him one of the greatest all-rounders.
