Rameshchandra gangaram "BAPU" NADKARNI (born April 04, 1933) was an Indian Cricketer; On January 14, 1964, he created a world record of having bowled 21 consecutive maiden overs when he finished with the analysis 32-27-5-0, in the first test match against England at Madras, India.

April 04, 1905:   An earthquake hit the Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh killed about 20,000 and destroyed most buildings in Kangra, Mcleodganj and Dharamshala. The earthquake measured 7.8 on the surface wave magnitude scale.

April 04, 2017:   Geetha Johri became the first woman IPS officer to be appointed as the police chief of Gujarat. She replaced P.P. Pandey, s relieved as Gujarat DGP on April 03, 2017, following Supreme Court's observations.
