SUCHITRA SEN, born April 06, 1931 and died January 17, 2014, was an Indian film actress, who worked in Bengali and Hindi films. At the 1963 Moscow International Film Festival, she won the Silver Prize for Best Actress for Saat Paake Bandha. Thereby, she became the first Bengali actress to receive an award at an international film festival.
