Saint Kabir's Couplet of the day  / आज का संत कबीर का दोहा

पहिले यह मन काग था, करता जीवन घात । अब तो मन हंसा, मोती चुनि-चुनि खात ॥

अर्थ : सामान्य मनुष्य का मन एक कौआ की तरह होता है, जो कुछ भी उठा और खा लेता है। लेकिन एक ग्यानी का मन उस हंस के समान होता है जो केवल मोती खाता है।

The psyche of an ordinary person is that of a crow which picks and eats anything dirty or not; whereas the psyche of the learned one is that of a goose which eats pearls.
