Saint Kabir's Couplet of the day  / आज का संत कबीर का दोहा

माटी कहे कुम्हार से, तु क्या रौंदे मोय। एक दिन ऐसा आएगा, मैं रौंदूगी तोय॥ Transliteration:   Maatee kahe kumhaar se, too kyaa ronde mohe; ek din aesaa aayegaa, main rondoongee tohe. अर्थ : मिट्टी कुम्हार से कहती है कि आज तो तू मुझे पैरों के नीचे रोंद रहा है, लेकिन एक दिन ऐसा आएगा, कि तू मेरे तले होगा और मैं तुझे रोंदूंगी| अर्थात, जीवन में मनुष्य चाहे जितना भी शक्तिशाली हो, मृत्यु के बाद उसका शरीर मिट्टी हो जाता है। Translation:   The soil states to the potter that today you are treading me down, but a day will come when I will be above you and shall tread you down. However powerful one may be, he/she is bound to become part of the soil one day.
