Excessive eating leads to ailment, excessive money leads to extravaganza, excessive praise leads to arrogance, excessive condemnation leads to enmity, excessive power and authority leads to corruption, excessive deprivation leads to revolt, excessive pleasures lead to commitment of Sins. The crux: excess of everything is bad.
Hindi Translation: अति किसी भी चीज़ की अच्छी नहीं होती। खाने की अति से रोग बढते है, धन की अति से दिखावा बढता है, प्रशंसा की अति से अंहकार बढता है, निंदा की अति से दुश्मनी बढती है, अधिकार की अति से भ्रष्टाचार बढ़ता है, क्षति की अति से विद्रोह भड़कता है और अय्याशी की अति से पाप पनपता है।
