April 11, 1967: The China's Foreign Ministry handed over a note to the Indian Embassy in Beijing saying inter alia that India must draw lessons from its past experience of 1962 war defeat, stop provocative activities along China-Sikkim border, etc. failing which Indi amight have to eat the bitter fruits of its own making.
