INDIA - POLITICS All-India Muslim League August 14, 1947:   After partition of India and formation of Pakistan, the AIML party was dissolved and was subsequently succeeded by Muslim League in Pakistan, Awami League in Bangladesh and Indian Union Muslim League in India.
