JASUBHAI PATEL December 20, 1959:   On this day, he created a record best bowling performance by an Indian cricketer by taking 9 wickets for 69 runs against Australia at Kanpur. This record remained unbroken till 1999 when Anil Kumble took 10 wickets in a test match against Pakistan at New Delhi.
