February 05, 1762:   He massacred the Sikhs in a battle (known as Wada Ghalughara) at Kup near Ludhiana in Punjab, India. It was estimated that 25,000 to 30,000 Sikhs were killed on that horrific day, which amounted to over one-third of the entire number of fighting sikhs.
