KAMAL SINGH OBERH January 1, 2000:   He skydived over the South Pole (Patriot Hills Drop Zone) from a height of 16,000 feet on this day in temperatures below minus 30 degree Celsius and set a national record by becoming the first ever to have successfully skydived over the white continent of Antarctica.
