June 20, 1887 - The present day Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai,
India, which is the erstwhile headquarters of the Great Indian
peninsular Railway, was christened 'Victoria Terminus' on this day, in
honour of the 50 years of the Queen's reign. |
