INDO-CHINA RELATIONS June 30, 2017: The Kailash Mansarovar, the abode of Lord Shiva, yatra through Nathu La pass in Sikkim has been cancelled, by the Chinese authorities in the wake of a face-off between Indian and Chinese troops over a disputed area along the Sino-Indian border. Meanwhile China sought a "meaningful dialogue" with India over the border row in the Sikkim sector and asked it to withdraw its troops from Doklam, insisting that Beijing has "indisputable sovereignty" over the area.
