INDIAN DEMOCRACY RESERVATION QUOTA SYSTEM Women's Reservation March 18, 2017:   Punjab cabinet has decided to provide 33 per cent reservation for women in all government jobs. The Punjab cabinet also decided to increase representation of women in the Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies from the present 33 per cent to 50 per cent.
