INDIA - HEALTHCARE Mental Healthcare Bill, 2016 March 27, 2017:   Lok Sabha of the Indian Parliament approved the Mental Healthcare Bill, 2016 on this day. The bill seeks to provide for mental healthcare and services for persons with mental illness and to protect, promote and fullfil the rights of such persons during delivery of healthcare services.
