P.V. SINDHU May 05, 2017:   The Telangana government allotted a 1,000 square-yard plot to her for winning the silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Following her Olympic medal, the Telangana government had presented the shuttler a cash reward of ₹5 crore and announced the allotment of a residential plot in Hyderabad, along with a government job offer.
