HEM CHANDRA VIKRAMADITYA November 05 - Death Anniversary November 05, 1556:   It was fought on this day between the forces of Hem Chandra Vikramaditya (Hemu), the Hindu ruler of north India from Delhi, and the army of Mughal Emperor Akbar. The resultant victory of Akbar and death of Hemu was the real restoration point of the Mughal power in India.
