G.V. MAVALANKAR November 26, 1947:   With the adoption of the Constitution of India on this day, the nomenclature of the Constituent Assembly (Legislative) was changed to the Provisional Parliament. So he became the Speaker of the Provisional Parliament on this day and continued to occupy the office till the 1st Lok Sabha was constituted in 1952.
