WOMEN'S RIGHTS TRIPLE TALAQ SYSTEM October 24, 2016:   The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, took a clear position disapproving the muslim men's right to divorce their spouse based on triple talaq chant. The muslim women activists in particular and a vast majority of Indians all across have welcomed the pronouncement by the Prime Minister, who said it was neither a political nor religious, but a development issue.
