ANDHRA PRADESH September 07, 2017:   Andhra Pradesh government signed an MoU with the US-based Hyperloop Transportation Technologies to build India's first Hyperloop system. The planned project is aimed at connecting cities Amaravati and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, supposedly covering the distance of over 35 km in just five minutes. Hyperloop is a tradename and a registered trademark of the Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) for the high speed transportation of passengers and goods in tubes in which capsules are propelled by linear induction motors and air compressors.
