INDO-PAK WAR of 1965 |
|
September 17, 1965: While the Indo-Pak war
was on, India received a letter from China, the then so-called Paki
friend, alleging that the Indian army had set up army equipment in
Chinese territory, and India would face China's wrath, unless the
equipment was pulled down. It being a mere monkey-like tactic when two
cats are fighhting, Shastri declared "China's allegation is untrue" and
so proceeded with doing what was supposed to be done in a situation like
this. After that the monkey went to sleep mode, for obvious reasons,
because by than India was not that of 1962, but of an over 1000 days
later. |
