Previously associated with IBN7, of TV18 group, as Managing Editor. He was a prominent member and also the spokesman of the Aam Aadmi Party. He contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Chandni Chowk, Delhi against Kapil Sibal of Congress and Harsh Vardhan of the BJP, but lost. Aug 15, 2018:   He resigned from Aam Aadmi Party citing his personal reasons.  He has written a book on Anna Hazare's August 2011 movement, against Corruption, titled "Anna: 13 Days That Awakened India". Feb 17, 2015:   His new book named 'Mukhote Ka Rajdharm' was released on this day.
