- November 28, 1923: He
established Andhra Bank in Machilipatnam.
- 1935: He is also the author
of The History of the Congress published in 1935 with an
introductory note given by Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
- 1942: During the Quit India
movement, he along with other Congress Working Committee
members was arrested and jailed in Ahmednagar fort in
Maharashtra.
- 1952: He was elected to
Rajya Sabha.
- 1952 to 1957: He was
Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
