- He is known as the 'Father of Revolutionary Thoughts' in
India.
- He was one of the radical freedom fighters of India.
- He was famous as one of the trio of three militant
patriots of the nation - the "Pal" of Lal-Bal-Pal comprising
Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Bipin Chandra Pal
respectively.
- The trio was responsible for initiating the first
popular upsurge against British colonial policy in the 1905
partition of Bengal.
- He was also the founder of the journal Vande Mataram.
- He also went to England to study in 1898 but after about
one year he returned to India and since then he started

strikes and lockouts of British owned businesses and
industrial concerns.
