K. P. Raghuvanshi as the Chief of ATS (Anti-Terror Squad).
- November 26, 2008: He was killed in action during the 2008 Mumbai attacks
after being shot three times in the chest. He was eventually
succeeded by K.P. Raghuvanshi after he was killed.
- January 26, 2009: His bravery was honoured with the Ashoka Chakra on
this day.
- September 29, 2008: He led the investigation of the 29
September Malegaon blasts.
