Description |
British Indian Empire was
partitioned, mainly due to over-ambitious muslim communalism
ideology, into India and Pakistan, albeit to the detriment of
the muslim populace at large. It led to the creation of the
sovereign states of the Dominion of Pakistan (which later split
into Pakistan and Bangladesh) and the Union of India (later
Republic of India) on 14–15 August 1947. But for the
ill-conceived and ill-greeded partition, the unified India
(including Bangladesh and West Pakistan) today (2017) would have
been a muslim dominated, if not muslim-ruled, nation. |
