- 1941: He was enlisted in
the British Indian Army in 1941 and served in the Second
World War.
- February 06, 1948: He was
posthumously was awarded the India's highest military
decoration, the PARAM VIR CHAKRA, on this
day. He was the fourth Indian recipient of Param Vir Chakra.
- September 21, 1984: The
Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) named fifteen of her
crude oil tankers in honour of the Param Vir Chakra
recipients. The crude oil tanker named MT Naik Jadunath
Singh, PVC, was delivered to SCI on on this day. The tanker
was phased out after 25 years of service.
