Pilgrimages and Teachings.

published his single-volume works, viz. Shivaji and His

History of Aurangzib took 25 years to complete and was

- 1926 to 1928: He served as
vice chancellor of the University of Calcutta.
- 1929: He was knighted.
- 1929 to 1932: He served on
the Bengal legislative council.
- 1950: He devoted another 25
years to his four-volume Fall of the Mughal Empire,
