- February 27, 1712: Upon the
death of their father on this day, he and his brother
Azim-ush-Shan both declared themselves emperor and conducted
a struggle for the succession.
- March 17, 1712: Only after getting
his brother, Azim-ush-shan, killed, could he
acquire the crown of the Emperor.
- March 29, 1712: He was
coronated as Emperor.
