Date-wise Events / Works |
- March 28, 2006: She went on
a hunger strike on this day, in protest against the decision
taken by the authorities, to increase the height of the
Narmada dam.
- April 17, 2006: Her hunger
strike continued for a long period of 20 days and finally
came to an end on this day.
- May 03, 2012: The Supreme
Court rejected the plea of Narmada Bachao Andolan to stop
the construction of the dam.
- January 2014: She joined
the Aam Aadmi Party, a political party led by Arvind
Kejriwal. She and her organisation, National Alliance of
People's Movement, provided support to the Aam Aadmi Party
during the Lok Sabha campaign. Patkar also contested 2014
Lok Sabha election from the North East Mumbai constituency
as an Aam Aadmi Party candidate, which she lost after
receiving less than 9% votes.
- March 28, 2015: She
resigned from Aam Admi Party's primary membership on this
day.

Science. She got married to Mr. Patkar but divorced later.
