March 26, 2016: He set a
world record at the 16th Para Athletics National
Championship in Panchkula holding three gold medals in three
events at one time.
March 30, 2016: He was
adjudged the best sportsman of the championship, while
Jayanti Behera (Orissa) was named as the best sportswoman.
September 2016: He was a
favourite to win a medal in the F46 javelin throw at the
2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, but was
disqualified from the event for failing to register on time.
March 22, 2017: In 9th
FAZZA IPC Athletics Grand Prix held in Dubai, he won 3 Gold
Medals in 3 Events -Javelin Throw, Shot Put and Discus Throw
under the coaching of Mahaveer Prasad Saini.
July 15, 2017: He opened
India's account at the World Para Athletics Championships by
clinching gold in the men's javelin throw event.
General
He hails from the Karauli district in Rajasthan.
Till November 2015, he was competing in General
Category. But soon thereafter he lost his left hand in an
accident.
He was introduced to Para athletics by RD Singh, who ran
a training centre in Hanumangarh, India.
