the most popular film stars
in the history of cinema; but his
popularity was concentrated in
Bengal and Bangladesh regions.
- He made his debut
in film ‘Mayador’, which
could not be released.
- So his actual first released
film was ‘Drishtidan’

sight’).
- The film ‘Basu Parivar’
brought him real prominence.
