Mr. R.D. BHARDWAJ

My Brief Profile :  

I am R.D. Bhardwaj "Noorpuri" and basically I belong to a village in District Jalandhar of Punjab. I completed my M.A. (English) from Doaba College, Jalandhar, in April, 1981 (under Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar). After completing my PG, I joined a finance company at Delhi as Clerk in 1981 and rose to the position of a Manager. 

My hobbies are reading, writing and listening to music (both folk songs and filmy), which I find quite soothing and comforting, particularly when my mind is disturbed and turbulent.  I write, poems, short stories and many more articles on the social and economic problems being faced by common people.  I write in Hindi, Punjabi and English as well.  I have won some prizes also for  my writings. I strongly feel that writing is also a form of social service, particularly when you write about the problems afflicting common people and also provide some solution for them.
