Coming together is access;
Staying together is steadiness,

Life should have a purpose and an aim
Without which it is just an idle game.

Of the coming day some others make a utopia.
The former happens in a pensive mood;
The latter happens in a hopeful mood.
Forget and forgive is the essence of reconciliation
By which healing of wounds has a facilitation.
Thus we can make the world a good habitation
Even if it requires some mortification.
Some people speak lies out of mendacity;
Some others speak the truth out of veracity.
The former quality has to be eradicated;
The latter quality has to be cultivated.
Goodness is intrinsic in the heart;
Of human nature it is a part.
Goodness flowers into charity;
Between the two there is some parity.
You cannot legislate for virtue
Vices unchecked will continue.
The source of virtue is the inner spirit;
Enforcement of virtue has no merit.
Grief cannot be shared for all time;
It may be shared for a short time
For the rest of it one carries it alone
And feels burdened and forlorn.
Jealousy and baldness have no prescription;
Both of them grow with no inhibition.
But the two are not of the same kin,
One is a sin and the other is not a sin.
The workers have to work and the managers have to watch;
Between their wages there is no match.
This causes to the workers some worry
But they should not stop work in a hurry.
When the spring time of life is running out
And the hopes and aspirations of life are fading out,
We have to be doubly careful to preserve
What fire and spirit we can conserve.
