Democratic Alliance led by the BJP) and also announced his
intention of forming a government in Bihar jointly with NDA.
- July 27, 2017: He was sworn
in as Chief MInister of the NDA government in Bihar; Sushil
Kumar Modi, BJP leader, was also sworn in as the Deputy
Chief Minister.
- July 28, 2017: He won the
confidence vote on the floor of the State Assemly by 131 (in
favour of NDA government) to 108 votes (in favour of the
so-called natural alliance the so-called secular parties).
