Indian National Congress, Chittagong branch.

April 18, 1930: He led the Chittgong (now in
Bangladesh) Armoury Raid and thus ignited the spark of rebellion
throughout Bengal.

2010: Indian film director Ashutosh
Gowariker directed the film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey about
Surya Sen's life. Actor Abhishek Bachchan played the role of Sen.

2012: Another film Chittagong
directed by Bedabrata Pain was about his armoury raid. Manoj
Bajpayee played the leading role.
