INDIA - CRIMES 2012 Delhi Gang Rape December 16, 2012:   The crime involved a rape and fatal assault on this day in Delhi, when a 23-year-old female physiotherapy intern, Jyoti Singh Pandey was beaten and gang raped in a private bus in which she was travelling with a male friend. Both of them were thrown out of the bus. They were admitted to Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital the same night.
