TERRORISM IN INDIA - OTHER December 24, 1999:  Hijacking of Indian Airlines FLIGHT 814:    The plane was hijacked en route from Kathmandu to Delhi. Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, a Pakistan-based Islamic extremist group, was accused of the hijacking.
