INDO-PAK WAR of 1971 March 25, 1971:   After several days of strikes and non-co-operation movements, the Pakistani military cracked down on Dhaka on the night of of this day. Sheikh Mujibur Rehman of the Awami League was arrested by Paki forces and taken to West Pakistan.
