HARSH VARDHAN October 23, 2013:   Dr Harsh Vardhan was named the Chief Ministerial candidate for the Delhi Assembly elections by the BJP. Though the BJP emerged as the single largest party (32/70 seats), Dr Harsh Vardhan rejected the suggestion of forming a patchwork government, and, following the highest traditions of parliamentary democracy, decided to sit in the Opposition.
