RAM PRASAD BISMIL September 16, 1927 - Following 18 months of legal process in Kakori Conspiracy case, Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, Roshan Singh and Rajendra Nath Lahiri were sentenced to death. On this day, a final appeal for clemency was forwarded to the Privy Council in London but that also failed.
