independence on this day.

Description |
This was one of the most
unfortunate days for all Indians of all religions and creeds.
Choudhry Rahmat Ali read out a note on this day at Waldorf Hotel
in London proposing the division of India. The name Pakistan was
coined by him and was accepted by the Indian Muslims who then
adopted it further for the Pakistan Movement seeking
independence. |
